The Calgary Youth Science Fair is completely volunteer-run. Each year over 550 amazing volunteers participate in the CYSF as judges and provide recognition and constructive feedback for the amazing projects from Calgary’s young scientists. In addition the CYSF also needs a contingent of passionate individuals to ensure that the science fair runs smoothly, no scientific knowledge required!

Let us know your talents and interests and we'll find a volunteer opportunity that's perfect for you! You'll feel younger (and smarter!) by osmosis just by being involved. And one day you'll likely benefit from the students’ brilliance too!

Here are two different ways you can get involved and help out:

Volunteer Judge: The 2018 fair participants will be judged on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary. Find out more here.

CYSF Volunteer: We are also always looking for passionate individuals to join our league of volunteers, no experience or science aptitude required! If you’re interested in getting involved, email: volunteer@cysf.org

Your involvement means a lot to us and ensures a successful CYSF for our amazing participants!
