The Calgary Youth Science Fair Society (CYSFS) is a nonprofit society supported through the generosity of our sponsors, donors and supporters. The CYSFS proudly directs all funds raised to the Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF) and CYSF Endowment Fund.
The CYSFS is fortunate to have outstanding support from many individuals, companies and organizations in the Calgary community; these are listed below. The contributions of these supporters, as well as those that provide awards for presentation at the CYSF, allow the CYSFS to host the largest science fair in Canada and to promote an interest in project based science across the City of Calgary. Registration in the Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF) is free and all participants are awarded a medal for their impressive efforts. Thanks to our supporters, the CYSF continues to fulfill the CYSFS' mission to "promote an appreciation for scientific principles and method in the youth of Calgary by means of an annual science competition."
Sponsor Youth Brilliance.
Inspire science discovery. We will work with you to meet your sponsorship objectives and connect you to the scientific world through the eyes of our youth.
With more than 900 students, over 550 judges from industry and academia, and more than 3000 parents, grandparents and members of the public in attendance over the course of the three days of the CYSF this is an amazing opportunity for you or your organization to make an impact and be recognized for your support of the future leaders in science, technology, engineering and math!
The CYSFS is a registered charity with the Government of Alberta and with the Government of Canada Revenue Agency.
All sponsors are recognized at the science fair on venue screens and at the awards ceremony as well as on the Sponsor Page of this web site. Additional sponsorship recognition and opportunities are as detailed in the CYSF Sponsor Levels.
In addition to sponsorship support, the Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF) receives annual income from the Youth Science Fair Endowment Fund which is held by The Calgary Foundation. The interest generated by this fund helps to support a portion of the costs of the science fair.
The Calgary Youth Science Fair Society (CYSFS) has set a goal of growing the endowment fund to $1,000,000 to sustain the magnitude of the CYSF. Once we reach this goal, the endowment fund revenue will assist the CYSFS in funding the majority of our operational costs.
All donations to the endowment fund will be recognized on the CYSF web site unless anonymity is requested. If you have questions about the endowment fund and how you might support it, please email us (mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org).

BP - Engagement Partner
BP recognizes the importance of education and believes teachers are the foundation for building a bright future. We know teachers can spark young minds to think critically and creatively about energy and energy conservation, which is why we provide resources to teachers so their ideas can become a reality.
