Calgary’s youth are improving our world one science fair project at a time – from reducing potential environmental toxins and wondering if butterflies see colour, to exploring safer travel with adaptive wheels – and they need your support!

Each year almost 1000 Calgary Grade 5-12 students take part in the Calgary Youth Science Fair (CYSF). The CYSF is dedicated to supporting and recognizing Calgary students’ pursuit of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through the lens of the scientific method.

The CYSF is one of the largest science fairs in Canada and one that is free to student participants and has been for over 50 years!

Did you know the CYSF is completely volunteer-run and relies solely on funding from individual donors, corporate sponsors and fundraising initiatives without any financial support from school boards? The CYSF would simply not be possible without the generous support of individuals, companies, and organizations who see the benefit in investing in the future of STEM.

You can catalyze change! Spark youth exploration and innovation today by donating here!

See who is part of the CYSF excitement already!
